簡介
每年十月的第三個週未, 全球約五十萬的童軍都會參加國際童軍通訊日(Jamboree-On-The-Air, JOTA), 而香港將有約 1000 名童軍參加.
今年的國際童軍通訊日將於 10月19日, 20日 (星期六及日) 舉行. 香港童軍總會的 JOTA 活動將由香港童軍總會業餘無線電組負責, 而香港童軍總會港島地域總部 (位於灣仔愛群道34號, 摩理臣山泳池附近, 地圖) 的 JOTA 活動將由香港業餘電台聯會支援.
介時將可透過 HF, 6m, VHF 及 UHF 無線電台協助參加的童軍跟世界各地的童軍通訊. 推廣業餘無線電外, 更可服務社會! 希望今年可以見到你!!

除 HF, 6m, 2m, 70cm 無線電台, 及電腦外, 今年還希望增添介紹業餘無線電的展品, 簡單的無線電電路製作示範, SSTV, EQSO 等. 期望同好多多協助!!
設備清單:
一部 HF 無線電台 一部 50MHz 無線電台 兩部 144MHz 無線電台 一部 430MHz 無線電台 1 x eQSO 連結 (電腦及耳筒) 5 x Headsets 天線 (1 x HF, 1 x 6m, 2 x 2m, 1 x 70cm) 設計及推廣
業餘無線電展品 SSTV / 簡單無線電電路製作示範 約 500 - 800 張紀念 QSLcard (由港島童軍 JOTA 贊助) 通訊紀錄 (Logbook) 電台呼號名牌及操作指引 (以教導參加者正確的無線電通聯及操作方法)

JOTA 2002

Every year, half a million Scout members all over the world participate in Jamboree-On-The-Air (JOTA), which takes place on the third weekend of October. More than a thousand Hong Kong Scout members will be participating event at both Austin Road Scout HQ and Hong Kong Island Region (HKIR) HQ at Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai (click here for map).
This year HARTS will once again be providing radio support at the Hong Kong Island Region's JOTA event.
As an volunteer, you will be help participants in the event to communicate with Jamboree near and far. There will be HF, 6m, VHF, UHF and eQSO linked special event stations on JOTA frequencies this year. Your advice and service to our community will be greatly appreciated!!
